Primary fellowship examinations

The college senate has approved the commencement of computer-based test format for the Primary Examinations with effect from March 2018. Furthermore, in a bid to decongest the Abuja examination centre, Jos and Kano fellowship examination centres will be reactivated with effect from March 2018.

September/October/November 2017 fellowship examination results

The above examinations were conducted successfully and the approved/ratified result (Percentage pass) by College Senate is as follows

We wish to congratulate the successful candidates and good luck to those who were not "so successful" as they prepare for subsequent examinations.

Memorandum of Understanding with Royal College of Pathologists Top

The year 2017 ended on a joyful note with the signing of the memorandum of understanding between our faculty/College and the Royal College of Pathologists, London. Prof. Ademola Olaitan, President, National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and Prof. Maadh Aldouri, RC Path signed on behalf of the two Institutions. We thank and appreciate all those who worked tirelessly toward this success story; a few of these include Prof. John Obafunwa (Country Advisor), Dr. KC Iregbu, Prof. A Olaitan, College President, Prof. Wole Atoyebi, immediate past College Registrar, and Prof. O Udofia the College Registrar. Further details on this will be communicated in due time.

  Assessment of Proposals Top

This has continued to be a major challenge as some assessors still delay proposals for several months. We sincerely appreciate all our assessors for the "sacrifice" and do plead with all of us to consider the plight of the residents whose proposals are unduly delayed; the effect on their training programs.

  Communication Top

Is there anything at your center that you want the Faculty to be aware of or to take action on, please do not hesitate to contact the faculty secretary on: facsecfmcpath@npmcn.edu.ng.

This is to wish every one of us a very fruitful 2018 and beyond.
